The following is a list of recyclable materials collected curbside. Materials should be at curbside by 6:00AM of your pickup day.
- Acceptable Commingled Recyclables: Glass bottles & Jars Only!, Tin cans, Aluminum cans, or bi-metal cans, plastic beverage containers, plastic bleach containers, plastic fabric softener containers, all empty aerosol cans, and cardboard milk & juice containers.
Unacceptable Commingled Recyclables: Dairy tubs (margarine/yogurt), caps, lids, toys, bags, motor oil, antifreeze, non-aerosol pesticide/herbicide containers.
- Acceptable Mixed Paper: Magazines, catalogs, junk mail, envelopes, computer paper, real estate books, paperbacks, hard-cover books (with covers torn off), non-metallic wrapping paper.
Unacceptable Mixed Paper: Cereal boxes, 'gray' cardboard, plastic bags, carbon paper.

No strings - No tape - No bundles
The following items can be mixed together loosely in a 30 - 50 gallon container with a lid on top of it:

No pizza boxes, soda or cereal boxes, or other "chipboard material". These items are disposed with your normal household trash.
Phone books and hard cover books may be recycled at the Arthur Ave. Recycling Center.

| The Arthur Avenue Recycling Center (Behind Stop & Shop Center) Accepts: All materials that are picked up curbside plus: empty, dry paint cans (lids removed), household & auto batteries, used motor oil & filters, and phone books. |
The following materials are picked up by appointment ONLY:
- Brush: Bundled only, picked up the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Bundles must be 4ft. long or less and branches no thicker than 3" in diameter.
- Metal/White Goods: Picked up the 3rd Tuesday of every month. Appliances with freon will not be picked up until proof is provided that the freon has been removed. Call 892-1287 for a list of licensed technicians.
