You should expect anything when you settle a bird feeder in our boro. As an integral link in the Atlantic Migratory Flyway, everything passes within our borders. The Spring and Fall migrations bring with them most of the oddities. The rest of the year, you can expect certain standard feeders. In Winter, you'll see Nuthatches, Chickadees, Sparrows and Titmice. In the Summer, the birdseed will get eaten by: Bluejays, Cardinals, Towhees, Crows and Robins. If you feed in winter, never stop. Don't feed in summer, just put out enough to attract!
