Marine Wildlife

Nearly surrounded by saltwater, Point Pleasant has a bountiful supply of sea creatures. Certain species are highly seasonal while others call our waters 'home'.

All of these species depend on a food chain originating in our wetlands, algal beds, and mud flats. Our impacting upon these most important coastal habitats causes us to lose our marine heritage.
