POINT PLEASANT – At a recent meeting of the Borough Council, Mayor Sabosik and Council President Furmato presented a resolution for the Council to consider opposing the proposed 24% rate increase by New Jersey Natural Gas.  The Borough Council unanimously voted in favor of this resolution and ordered the Borough Clerk to send it to the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, the 30th Legislative District of the State of New Jersey who represents the Borough in the State Legislature and to all municipalities in Ocean County in the hopes that they would do the same.
