As Mayor of Point Pleasant I would like to welcome you to your source for insight into the Borough. Point Pleasant has a Mayor and Council form of government with 6 voting Council members, one of which is chosen to act as Council President, and a Mayor who runs the public meetings. Point Pleasant also has an administrator, currently David A. Maffei, who handles the day to day running of Point Pleasant. Point Pleasant is a very diverse community which is greatly affected by the rivers, bay and intercoastal waterway with bridges and many, many lagoons. Point Pleasant offers public beaches, parks and many recreational areas for residents and visitors alike.
