REGISTRATION INFORMATION

POLICY- Recreation programs are for Residents of POINT PLEASANT BOROUGH only.
~~~CHILD MUST BE THE AGE OF THE PROGRAM WHEN THE PROGRAM STARTS~~~
PAYMENT - Make all checks payable to the "BOROUGH OF POINT PLEASANT" CHECKS ONLY - NO CASH**A fee of $20 will be charged for any checks that are returned to us** Refunds made by Purchase Order, in accordance with our refund policy. Registrations accepted until capacity is reached in each program individually. REGISTRATION-will begin on MONDAY, September 13th, 2010. Registrations will be held daily from 9am-3pm. Special EVENING REGISTRATIONS will be held on MONDAY, September 13th, and THURSDAY, September 16th, 2010 FROM 6-8PM. Registrations first come first served. FOR MORE INFORMATION, CONTACT: 892-5813.

Children may participate in Biddy Basketball until the 3rd grade.

PAINTING & CRAFTS

Youth Basketball Leagues

Grades 4th- 8th

Cost $50

Games will be played at Ocean Road School in early December. The League will run thru the first week of March. Each team will practice on the weekend

High School Boys Basketball

Grades 9-12th

Cost $ 50

Designed to  be a Recreational League for High School Boys only.

Games will be played week nights during the winter months.

Challenger Basketball

Held in November and December for the more experienced Challenger players.

Will include scrimmages and games at a competitive level.

Preschool Registration for the 2010 / 2011 School has begun.

Openings still exist in several classes.

MARTIAL ARTS

(runs for 8 weeks)

BABYSITTING

AGES: 10 +

Held at the Recreation Center

This will be an event filled with action and fun for your young lad. Their will be Pirate games, Crafts, Movies and pirate treats. There may even be a surprise visit by Black Beard and his crew??

Pediatric Heart-Saver CPR Class
Date: Wed. October 13th, 2010 (18+)

 Time: 7-10pm (approx.3 hrs.)
Cost: $30 per person

Location: Recreation  Center
This class is designed for those who are required by work, school, community activities, etc. Mom, Dad & even the babysitter may want to take this class. Everyone will receive a Pediatric CPR card in the mail after the class is completed. This class will be approx. 3 hours long. You MUST sign in when you arrive in order to receive credit for the class

Creative Dribbling/Power Shooting

Presented by Vision/Real Shore FC

Thursdays, September 30th, 2010

Ages 10+

    6:30-7:30pm

Cost- $100

Program runs for 6 weeks

Held at Point Pleasant Boro High School

Dance Classes

held at 2812 Bridge Avenue( Miss MaryAnn's)

Program runs for 8 weeks  

Presented by "Real shore FC"

Mondays  9:30-10:30pm   or 10:30-11:30

   Ages- 2yrs-5yrs

Cost-  $75.00

Program held at Recreation Center

Session #1  Sept 30-Nov 8th

Session #2 Nov 15th- Dec 20th

This program designed for children ages 2-5yrs. Focus will be on providing a fun and exciting environment for the players to develop coordination, balance and a love for the ball.

Age appropriate games will be used. All players will receive a shirt and a Ball.

Panther Basketball Academy

Held at Ocean Road School

Program runs for 8 wks.

Cost $150  Grades 4th-8th

Tuesdays 6-7:30pm  Begins  September 28th, 2010

During the workout sessions, players will be working on the basic fundamentals of basketball. There will be sessions for serious basketball players. We will focus on the skills of passing, dribbling, shooting, footwork and perimeter moves. We want to help to develop a love for working towards improving these individual skills. we also hope to develop a passion for the game of basketball while helping to develop good young people.
