REGISTRATION INFORMATION

 

POLICY- Recreation programs are for Residents of POINT PLEASANT BOROUGH only.

PAYMENT - Make all checks payable to the "BOROUGH OF POINT PLEASANT" CHECKS ONLY - NO CASH**A fee of $20 will be charged for any checks that are returned to us** Refunds made by Purchase Order, in accordance with our refund policy. Registrations accepted until capacity is reached in each program individually. REGISTRATION-will begin on MONDAY, December 6th, 2010. Registrations will be held daily from 9am-3pm. Special EVENING REGISTRATIONS will be held on MONDAY, December 6th, and THURSDAY, December  9th, 2010 FROM 6-8PM. Registrations first come first served. FOR MORE INFORMATION, CONTACT: 892-5813.

This program will focus on straight ahead, explosive and lateral speed specific to skill sports. Sneakers should be worn, no cleats.

"NEW "- Visualization/Confidence Building

January 4th- February 7th , 2010

This is for the serious soccer player. You will learn how to develop the "mental" part of the game; the mind controlling the inner and exterior issues that affect an athlete's game. Having positive thinking and confidence is the outcome of this training.

Creative Dribbling/  Power Shooting

Thursdays 8:00-9:00pm

Program runs for 6 wks

This program involves rhythm and agility combined with various dribbling movements and combinations required by every filed player. Learning to be comfortable with the ball. Sneakers are required.

 

Winter Wonderland Olympic Fun

Friday, February 11th, 2011

Time:   6-8pm

Ages 5-10 yrs

Cost:$12 per person

Parent and child will enjoy making a snowman using supplies provided by the Recreation Department. There will also be winter games and relay races.  Pizza and refreshments will be served.

 

Holiday Zone

Saturday December 11th, 2010

at the Recreation Center

Ages 3-10yrs.        Cost  $15.00per person

Parents and children have fun this Holiday season at our "Holiday Zone". We will make Holiday Crafts, play games, sing songs and decorate cookies. There will be plenty of fun and refreshments for all. There will be special visits by our Holiday Friends.

Kinder-kickers

Mondays  9:30-10:30am   or   10:30-11:30am

Ages- 2-5

Cost $75.00

Program runs for 6 wks.

This program is designed for children ages 3 & 4 years old. Focus is on providing a fun and exciting environment for the players to develop coordination, balance and a love for soccer. Age appropriate games will help each child foster basic skills. Sneakers should be worn. NO CLEATS.

Kevin Hynes Basketball Coaching Clinic

For Adults only

This will be a 2 hour clinic held at the recreation Center designed to teach offensive drills, dribbling, passing, shooting, defensive drills, rebounding and defensive positioning. This Instructional period will provide youth coaches with the tools they need to help young players learn the skills of the game.
